President Muhammadu Buhari and his wife, Hajiya Aisha have just voted at the Sarkin Yara Ward A, Kofa Baru polling unit (003), Gidan Niyam in Daura local government area of Katsina State.
They arrived the polling unit located in Tone, a densely populated area of Daura town around 8.am and were number one and two to vote at the polling unit, not far away from the emir of Daura’s palace. Mrs. Buhari voted before the President.
The have since left the polling unit.
Buhari wore a blue ‘babanriga’, with cap to match and black shoes.
The president’s residence is located in Government Reserve Area (GRA) of the town, about five minutes drive to the polling unit.
