News reaching The Nigerin Xpress online now indicates that President Muhammadu Buhari will, at 7:00pm, later today address Nigerians in a live broadcast.

The president would address the nation on the progress made in the fight against the rampaging Coronavirus pandemic as well as possible extension or otherwise of the lockdown directive in some parts of the country.
This is coming 15 days after the last broadcast by the President to citizens.
A statement by Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, says, “President Muhammadu Buhari will broadcast to the nation Monday, April 13, 2020 at 7pm.
“Television, radio and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria respectively for the broadcast.”
