JUST IN: Appeal Court okays Oyebanji’s election as Ekiti gov.

The Court of Appeal sitting, in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, has affirmed Mr. Biodun Oyebanji as the winner of the governorship election held on June 18, 2022 in the state.

Delivering the judgment, on Tuesday, a three-member panel of the court threw out the appeal filed by the candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Mr. Segun Oni, for lacking in merit.
