JUST IN: Ahead Edo 2020, Ize-Iyamu picks APC Gov’ship Nomination Form

A former governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, has picked the nomination form of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the September 2020 gubernatorial election in the state.

Ize-Iyamu reportedly picked the form, on Wednesday, at the National Secretariat of the party, in Abuja, ahead of the APC’s primary and governorship election in Edo State.

Recall that Pastor Ize-Iyamu had reportedly emerged the consensus candidate of the Adams Oshiomhole faction of the party, on Tuesday.

Governor Godwin Obaseki had been at loggerheads with National Chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomhole, and the emergence of Ize-Iyamu may pose some of form of threat to his second term ambition.
