Unknown gunmen suspected to be Fulani militia, on Wednesday, killed over 30 persons in a midnight assault on Yelwa Zangam community in the troubled Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.
This is coming barely two weeks after 25 travellers were killed in the same local government.
Before launching their attacks, it was gathered that the attackers, first had disabled the bridge leading to the Anaguta community, thereby preventing help from blocking help for the victims.
Many families were reportedly burnt alive in their homes while others, including children, who sustained injuries are being treated in the hospital.
