Staff of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, on Saturday, January 18 kicked off the 2025 UTME activities by embarking on a 5Km Health Walk.
The Walk which was organised by the human resources department of the board was carried out within the Bwari Area Council and it started at the headquarters of the board with staff dressed in sportswear inscribed with messages informing the public about the soon to be commenced registration of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE).
Speaking on the exercise, Mufutau Bello, the Director of Finance and Accounts, who represented JAMB’ registrar said the Walk was to improve the health of the staff as well as inform the public about the processes for upcoming examinations.
In his contribution, Abd’rahim Gani, the Director of Human Resources, thanked the registrar and management for their generous support, which contributed to the event’s success. He encouraged staff to incorporate regular exercise into their routines for the sake of their health.
Participants commended the management for organising the Walk saying it was an opportunity for them to engage in physical exercise and be focused on their job.
