Interstate kidnappers meet waterloo in Kogi, as vigilante kill three, arrest others

The final end came for three suspected kidnappers in Kogi State when local vigilante confronted and wasted them in a shootout.
The Chief Press Secretary to Kogi State Governor, Onogwu Mohammed, confirmed the incident leading to the death of the kidnappers, who were operating in the Ottoyi forest between Niger.
According to Onogwu, one of the gang members, who came to buy provisions was apprehended by the vigilante. As he led the security operatives to their hideout, the gang members laid an ambush for the vigilante.
However, in the ensuing gun duel, the vigilante routed the criminals, killing three of them and arresting others.
