The President, Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB), Mr. Shola Tinubu, on Wednesday, congratulated President Muhammadu on his re-election.
Tinubu said in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos State that the President should focus on policies that would allow businesses to flourish.
Tinubu said: “I also congratulate every Nigerian that voted in the 2019 general elections. It is our civic responsibility as citizens of this great country. I pray that we have the desired peace and progress we crave.”
The NCRIB boss urged President Buhari to deliver sustainable development through better governance, so as to address frontally all issues needed for the business environment to further flourish.

He stressed the need for the country’s railway system to be advanced in a short term, so as to tackle transportation challenges and eliminate high transport fares.
Tinubu also called for more improvement in the country’s power sector to enable citizens access uninterrupted power supply
“The country’s health system needed a boost, the public hospitals need to be equipped with more modern medical facilities to enable all Nigerians access good and adequate medical care,” he added.
Tinubu noted that though the government had implemented a number of schemes to help farmers enhance productivity, “more Soil Health Card (SHC) Schemes must be developed to enable farmers know the major and minor nutrients available in their soils which will ensure judicious use of fertiliser application and thus save money of farmers.”
He urged President Buhari to synergise with underwriting industry to ensure that farmers take up Crop Insurance Schemes to broaden coverage against crop losses and other natural calamities (NAN)
