The former speaker of the Lagos House of Assembly Mudasiru Obasa has drawn the battle line with his colleagues in the House as he has used officers from the DSS office to arrest two of the lawmakers involved in his removal.
The two members of the House, Hon. Lanre Afinni and Hon. Sylvester Ogunkelu, were arrested on Thursday by DSS officers and currently being detained at the DSS office in the State in connection with the removal of Obasa as Speaker.
It is recalled Obasa was removed as Speaker by the majority of the members on January 13 and replaced with the former Deputy Speaker, Mojisola Lasbat Meranda.
However, sources revealed that the Deputy Speaker, Hon Mojeed Fatai with some other members of the House are currently at the DSS office to secure the release of the detained members.
