Imo gov. appoints Nwankwo Kanu SSA Sports NewsSports By Abdulfatah On Aug 14, 2019 Share Governor Emeka Ihedioha of Imo State has appointed a former Super Eagles skipper, Nwankwo Kanu as his Senior Special Adviser on Sports. To this end, Nwankwo Kanu was at the Governor’s Office, Owerri, the state capital, where he presented a jersey to the governor. Kanu was accompanied on the visit by Chief Technical Adviser, Mr. PGU Madu and an aide to see the governor. During the visit,Governor Ihedioha extolled Kanu’s contribution to the development of sports in Nigeria, while urging him to do more for the state.
