Governor Emeka Ihedioha of Imo State has unveiled Fidelis Ilechukwu as coach of Nigeria Professional Football League side, Heartland Football Club.
The former MFM FC gaffer was unveiled on Monday in Owerri.
“The working one” as he is fondly addressed joined the “Naze Millionaires” after 13-year stint with the Olukoya boys.
Ilechukwu left MFM FC on Thursday, August 1, 2019 by mutual agreement.

He guided MFM successfully well from amateur level to the top flight.
He also guided them to their first-ever CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup in 2017.
Ilechukwu kept the Lagos based football club afloat in the 2018/19 NPFL season.
