Governor Emeka Ihedioha of Imo State has signed into law three Executive Bills recently passed by the state’s House of Assembly.
The governor’s aide on new media, Izuchukwu Akwarandu, told reporters, in Owerri, that Governor Ihedioha had signed eight Executive bills into law since he assumed office.
Akwarandu said, “Governor Emeka Ihedioha has signed into law, bills for the establishment of Imo State Sports Commission, Imo State Power and Electrification Agency and the Imo State Markets Development Authority.

The Deputy Governor, Gerald Irona; Speaker of the Assembly, Collins Chiji; the Deputy Speaker, Okey Onyekamma; the Majority Leader, Chigozie Nwaneri; the Clerk of the House, Chinelo Emeghara and the Special Adviser on Legislative Matters to the governor, Nnaemeka Maduagwu, attended the event.
