The Idiroko Unit Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has inaugurated a new operational building to enhance service delivery.
Mr. Akinwunmi Olaluwoye, Idiroko Unit Commander of the Corps, during the inauguration in Idiroko, Ogun, on Thursday, said that construction of the building was a remarkable achievement in the history of the command.
Olaluwoye noted that the command had hitherto operated without a conducive office, lack of office equipment and other challenges in the past.
He said that the construction of the new building had been made possible through stakeholders’ collaboration in assisting in putting the command in shape, which boosted operational activities in Idiroko and its environs.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the building comprised offices and a guard room.

“FRSC commended the major stakeholders who contributed generously to the construction of the new building,’’ the unit commander said.
He reiterated FRSC’s commitment to continue to create a better working environment for its personnel in discharging their duties.
Olaluwoye also said that the command would embark on aggressive public enlightenment to check excesses of motorists and reduce the spate of traffic road crashes in Idiroko and its environs.
Earlier, Mr. Clement Oladele, Ogun Sector Commander of FRSC commended the unit commander for his ability to manage his staff for good performances.
Oladele implored stakeholders to continue to support FRSC’s activities toward reducing crashes on the highways. (NAN)
