Gbanger Terkimbi Sunday, 25, has been arrested and detained by the Benue State Command the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) for allegedly raping an 11-year-old child.
Parading the suspect at the command headquarters in Makurdi, through the NSCDC spokesperson, Michael Ejelikwu, the State Commandant of NSCDC, Yakubu Ibrahim, disclosed that the minor was defiled on Sunday by the suspect in the Mbakumur Peivi village of Guma LGA in Benue State.
He added that the suspect was arrested on January 25, following a medical test that confirmed that the victim had sustained injuries, including wounds to her private part.
However, Sunday confessed to committing the offence to reporters, adding that he was only teaching the little girl s*x at her request.
