Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the February 25 general elections, Mr. Peter Obi, has denied ever visiting President-elect Bola Tinubu at Defence House, in Abuja.
Recall that a photo of Mr. Obi, Tinubu, and others at Defence House had been trending on social media.

But Mr. Obi, during an interview on Arise TV, on Monday night said on the issue, “I have never visited him (Tinubu), these are some of the things I have been telling you, they have turned the whole thing into a joke.
“What we need now is how are we going to crush this? if I am not labelled a tribal bigot, it is another. I did not visit anybody. My followers are saying they remain steadfast,” he said.
