Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has cleared the air on claims that he owns a generator company.
Atiku said this as he speaks about what he would do to offer solutions to the electricity challenges facing the nation.
Through a series of tweets he made, on Thursday, Atiku said that he planned to give each state the power to generate, transmit and distribute electricity for themselves so that other states would not have to suffer when a particular state has a dispute with the federal government.

He said this as he reacted to the recent strike held by the power holding company which left a significant part of the nation in a blackout for some hours.
Stating further in the tweets, he said that he had no interest in any generator company either directly or indirectly as may had been assumed by many.
He said this after he was accused of being a shareholder in a generator company. He was also accused of importing generators.
