‘I didn’t attack President Buhari, I only tried to admire him’ – Man believed to have launched physical attack on the President
The man reported to have attempted to attack President Muhammadu Buhari in Argungu, Kebbi State, on Thursday, has spoken out saying he was in no way trying to physically attack the president as is being reported in sections of the media.

In a tweet from the verified tweeter account of Federal Ministry of Information & Culture, @FMICNigeria, the man, identified as Mohammed Jamil Bello, reportedly said that he only wanted to show his admiration for the president over his virtues and honesty in his handling of the affairs of the country.
The tweet, “I did not attack President @MBuhari, I was emotionally attached to his outstanding virtues of honesty and craved to shake him”.
