Kwara House of Assembly member-elect, Mr Raphael Adetiba, says the 24 members of the assembly elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will work hard to restore the state’s lost glory.
Adetiba from Oke-Ero Local Government of the state, made this known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Saturday.
He pledged the commitment of all the elected members of the assembly in the state to partner with the executives to fast track the recovery of the lost glory of the state.

According to him, we have a lot to do to bring back the lost glory of the state that was once the cynosure of everybody and all hands will be on deck to ensure the people are not disappointed.
“We are fully prepared to work and as honourable members, we know that the assembly is not a place to wine and dine.
“Given the level of havoc that has already been done to the state in terms of infrastructure, social amenities and others, we will ensure that the glory of the state is fully restored,’’ he said.
He said that, his constituency, Oke-Ero Local Government should no longer be seen as an appendage of Ekiti Local Government.
According to him, this is an opportunity to say that Oke-Ero is not an appendage of any other local government in the state but a full-blown local government that deserves necessary recognition.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Oke-Ero Local Government was created out of Ekiti Local Government few years ago and had always been perceived as same.
The two local governments shared same culture, values and beliefs and also speak the same dialect, Ekiti dialect and are the Ekitis in Kwara. (NAN).
