Hamzat, CP Odumosu visits scene of Lagos collapsed building

Few hours after news emerged a 21- storey building has collapsed in Ikoyi, Lagos, Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu as well as some members of the state executives visited scene of the incident.

The Deputy Governor was accompanied by the Hon. Commissioner for Special Duties & Intergovernmental Relations, it’s counterpart, Hon. Comm for Physical Planning and DG LASEMA.

Hamzat is at the scene for on-the-spot assessment of the incident while Odumosu was there to mobilise security agents to provide security to rescue workers and forestall breakdown of laws and order.

Reports indicate all first responders are at the scene while the heavy duty equipment and life detection equipment have been dispatched.
