Fiery former Kaduna State senator, Sen. Shehu Sani, believes that Sultan Sa’ad Abubakar is still sitting on the throne today was because of the re-election of Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State.

In a tweet from his verified tweeter handle, @ShehuSani, on Monday, he wrote, “If Governor Tambuwal has not been re-elected, the relatively mildly outspoken Sultan too could have been sacked.”
Sen. Sani’s tweet came hours after news filtered in that Emir Sanusi Lamido of Kano Emirate had been removed by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State.
