No fewer than five people have been killed while several houses were burnt during an attack by unidentified gunmen at Zangan village in Attakar Chiefdom of Kaura Local Government of Area of Kaduna State.
Interim Management Committee Chairman of the Council who confirmed this, on Friday, said the attackers invaded the community around 4 pm Thursday evening and shot sporadically at the innocent residents.
“Five persons were killed while two others are still missing.

“A number of houses including, the newly Police Outpost were burnt and vandalised respectively.
“We have urged the people to remain calm and have confidence in the security personnel that already have secured the area while investigation is ongoing,” he said.
Zangan village where the unfortunate incident occurred, bothers Ryom local government area of Plateau State.
Meanwhile, efforts to get further confirmation from the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Yakubu Sabo failed as he would not respond to calls and SMS sent to him.
