Chairman of the CAN in Plateau State, Polycarp Lubo, confirmed the Kantoma’s kidnapping.
According to him, “Since the gunmen abducted the Reverend Father, we have not heard anything from him or the abductors until this afternoon.
“It’s such a pity. However, we are praying for him and hope that he is safe wherever he is. On Monday, a resident of the community, Paul Aware, confirmed the Reverend father’s kidnapping to reporters in Jos.
“When the gunmen arrived in the community early in the morning, they went straight to the Reverend Father’s house,” Aware said.
“When the local youths were alerted, they attempted to stop them and even gave them a hot chase into the bush, but the gunmen opened fire everywhere and took the Reverend Father away.”
