One worshipper was killed and two others abducted when some gunmen, on Sunday, struck at a church, in Kogi State.
It was gathered that the assailants opened fire on worshippers, as church service was ongoing at a branch of Evangelical Church of West Africa (ECWA), located at Okadayo-Kabba, along Okene road, resulting in the instant death of one person.
Two other worshippers were injured and currently being treated treatment in an undisclosed hospital.

Also, two other persons, including the pioneer Provost of College of Education (Technical), Kabba, Chief J.O.T Oshadumo, were kidnapped. The wife of the former provost and some students reportedly sustained gunshot wounds.
The Kaaba area of the state has assumed dangerous notoriety, as the attack was coming barely a few days after a jailbreak at the Federal Minimum Correctional Centre and the abduction of three poultry farmers in their farm in the same area.
