The monarch also pointed out that Aba State creation is more than 70 per cent feasible, stressing that  a committee  of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo which was given the mandate of selecting  the state to be created out of South East geopolitical zone to correct the already existing imbalance in the region, voted unanimously and approved the creation of Aba State.

The chairman described it as the opinion of the whole Igbo race stressing that with that approval it has achieved more than 70 per cent.

He mandated the coordinators  of Aba State Movement to go back to the grassroots, the rural communities and villages for a sensitisation to create awareness on how to achieve the project.

The traditional ruler, therefore,  called on every Ukwa and Ngwa indigene to go and converse with their residents so that the President  Muhammadu Buhari,  the National Assembly and the entire world, would be aware of the need for the creation of Aba State.

The chairman  also used the occasion to state the position  of the people of Ukwa and Ngwa on the Ruga settlement and the condition  of Nigeria as regards the massive killing by the Fulani herdsmen, Boko Haram, kidnapping and the  banditry going on in the country.

Eze Nwogu said that since Ukwa Nigeria is part of Abia State and Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has made it categorically clear that Abia has no land for Ruga or cattle colony, the Ukwa and Ngwa people are solidly behind the governor.

He explained that the people of Ukwa and Ngwa has not enough land for farming  let alone talk of Ruga settlement.
