Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State has announced a minor cabinet reshufle in the State Executive Council to ensure smooth administration and efficient service delivery in his administration.
The governor has redeployed his Chief of Staff, Mr. Offor Okorie, to head the Governing Board of Ebonyi State Broadcasting Corporation (EBBC).
In a release signed by the Secretary to the State Government and Coordinating Commissioner, Dr Kenneth Ugballa on Monday night, stated that Mrs. Chinwe Okah, has been moved from the Ministry of Budget and Planning to Ministry of Market Development and Management.
Prof. Ogbonnaya Chukwu, Commissioner ministry of Finance and Economic Development was redeployed to Ministry of Commerce and Industry while his counterpart, Chief Moses Oshibe moves from the Ministry of Lands and Survey to the Ministry of Rice mills Development.
Others affected included Barr. Uchenna Orji, who hitherto doubled as the Commissioner for Information and State Orientation and acting Commission Human Capital Development and Monitoring, now handles only the Information and State and Orientation ministry.
Chief Emmanuel Uguru moves from the ministry of Environment to that of Lands and Survey while Comrade Jonah Egba who was before now the Commissioner for Solid Minerals Development now takes charge of the Ministry of Environment.
Chief Conatus Njoku moves from the ministry of Commerce and Industry to the Ministry of Solid Minerals Development Communities and Mrs. Mojitude Ekuma who was the Special Adviser, Finance now assumes the position of the Acting Accountant General.
Mrs Nwakaego Nworie formerly Executive Assistant to the Governor now SA-Market (Lot 5). Dr Mrs Elizabeth Agwu moves as Permanent Secretary, UBEB to acting Chief of Staff.

Mrs. Christiana O. Ukwuta who was the State Accountant-General has been redeployed as the Permanent Secretary, UBEB and Internal Revenue Service.
Mr. Moses O. Agama, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Finance and Economic Development now doubles as Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Finance and Economic Development and that of Accounts, Salaries, Pensions and Returns.
According to the statement the reshuflements and appointment take effect from July 1st, 2020.
