The Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje, has expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the governorship and assembly elections in the state.
The governor made the remarks after casting his vote at Polling Unit 002, Ward 5, Ganduje, Dawakin-Tofa Local Government Area of the state at exactly 10: 30 am.
The governor also expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the electorate and the entire exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

He hoped that the peace recorded, large turnout of electorate and security arrangement put in place for the exercise would be sustained for a successful outing.
‘’So far, the election is going on peacefully and orderly without any rancor and all materials are on ground.
“This is purely democracy in action and if all areas are like this, I think we will all witness a hitch free exercise,” he said.
He also urged his supporters to be vigilant and cautious, and monitor the process in its entirety. (NAN)
