Governor Mohammed Bindow of Adamawa State, on Wednesday, sworn-in Mr. Hayatu Nura as the new Auditor-General for Local Governments in the state.
Bindow, who performed the ceremony at Government House, Yola, urged the new auditor-general to be diligent and abide by the laws governing the auditing profession.
He advised him to allow the interest of the people to be his priority in the discharge of his duties.

The governor, who described the new appointee as a man of all parts, however, urged him to cue into the anti-corruption crusade of the APC-led government.
Responding, the new auditor-general pledged to discharge his duties with the fear of God.
NAN reports that Nura, who hails from Maiha Local Government Area of the state, was appointed sequel to the death of Alhaji Usman Hamidu, former occupant of the post. (NAN)
