The governorship candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) in the June 2018 governorship election in Ekiti State, Mr Segun Adewale, says he has returned to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Adewale disclosed this when he addressed his supporters at Ipoti in Ijero Local Government Area of the state on Tuesday.
The returnee, who said he came back to PDP with his teeming supporters, told the people that it was time to return home.

“We must ensure that we deliver a resounding victory for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and at this point, we must all come together to rescue Nigeria from poverty,” he said.
Adewale, who was in the midst of cheering crowd, donated N1 million to assist the party in the build up to the February 16 presidential election, saying that his followers cut across the 16 local governments in the state.
Former Chairman of Ijero Local Government, Mr. Joseph Ayeni, and Ekiti state Central Senatorial District Chairman, Mr Tunji Kayode were among important political heavy weights that attended the event,
Others include former state lawmaker representing Ijero Constituency, Mr Lai Oke and one-time Chairman, Ijero Local Government, Mr Bode Agbeleye. (NAN)
