The wife of former Special Adviser on Security to Governor Peter Obi in Anambra State, retired Col. Akunnia Ikem Molokwu, Mrs.Benedicta Bamidele Molokwu is dead.
In a statement signed by her husband, she died in the early hours of 13 December 13, 2024 at the age of 70.
Late Molokwu was a deaconess of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Onitsha, and is survived by her husband, daughter, Ogechukwukamma Blessing Chimama’da Molokwu, two step daughters, two step sons, step grandchildren, a sister who is Pastor Mrs. Bose Musa; and a brother,
She is also survived by Mr. James Akota Ordia Ehinomen; as well as uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and cousins.
Lying in state and funeral service will take place on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 06.30am at her residence,15 Ogbuli Nwawulu Street, Inland Town, Onitsha.while Interment will follow by 12pm at Ehanle Ewu, Edo State.
