The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), in Taraba State, has adopted President Muhammadu Buhari and the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Alhaji Sani Abubakar Danladi, as their presidential and governorship candidates, respectively.
Chairman of MACBAN in the state, Alhaji Sahabi Mahmud Tukur, said this, on Monday, at a press conference, in Jalingo., on Monday.
He said that the decision was a mark of respect to the leader of the association and the conviction that the president has kept his campaign promises especially in the Northeast.
He cited the Mambilla Hydro Power Project, the bridge across the river Benue in Ibbi and other projects in the region to have informed the choice of the president and said that the clear leadership failure of the incumbent administration in the state has called for the need to change the government.

According to Tukur, “I am pleased to inform you that the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), Taraba state chapter has adopted President Muhammadu Buhari of the APC as her presidential candidate for the 2019 general election. We have equally adopted Alhaji Danladi.
“Sani Abubakar Danladi of the APC as our governorship candidate in Taraba state and all the other candidates vying for various posts under the platform of the APC in the state.
“This decision is not only a mark of respect to our leaders but also on the conviction that the president has fulfilled his campaign promises in areas of security, fighting corruption and economic growth.
“I urge you to take this message seriously and work towards the election of Alhaji Sani Abubakar Danladi in his bid to take over the state government so that the good programs of the APC would flow down easily,” Tukur said.
