Governor Kayode Fayemi of of Ekiti State has appointed five more Special Advisers into his cabinet.
The appointment takes immediate effect.
According to a statement by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Yinka Oyebode, on Wednesday, the appointment was made “in the bid to further position the administration for effective service delivery.”

The statement further said that those who Governor Fayemi approved their appointment were, “Barr. V.O Kolade – Special Adviser, Social Investments; Alhaji Ademola Bello, Special Adviser, Inter – Party Relations and Allied Matters; Barr. Abiola Olowokere, Special Adviser, Legislative Affairs; Dr. Sikiru Eniola, Special Adviser, Tertiary Education and Dr. (Mrs.) Kofoworola Aderiye mni, Technical Adviser , Education.”
