On Sunday, January 12, family members of victims of The Gambia and Senegal migrants which capsized at the shores of Nouadhibou, in Mauritania, about seven weeks ago, held a 40-day prayers for their loved ones.
Recall that a boat carrying over 150 migrants left the Gambian water for Canary Islands, in November, last year.

The boat capsized along the shores of Nouadhibou in Mauritania in mid December. Over 60 youths lost their lives and several dozen survived and voluntarily returned to The Gambia and Senegal.
Last Sunday, the families of the deceased held the traditional 40 days charity to pray for their loved ones.
