A fake naval personnel, Azeez Ali, is currently in police net for allegedly cutting off the penis of a 42-year-old man, Sunday Amoo, at Bariga area of Lagos State.
It was gathered that the duo had a brief misunderstanding, which led to the 40-year-old Ali using a military Jack knife to mutilate the victim.
The victim, who sustained a terrible cut, was taken to the Lagos State Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), is said to be recuperating.
Speaking on the incident in a press statement, Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, Elkana Bala, said the suspect was arrested by policemen from Bariga Police Division at a pin down point along Berger Bus-Stop, IBB Way, Bariga.

Bala, in the statement issued, on Sunday said, “It is a case of attempted murder. On March 14, 2020, at about 1:50 p.m., operatives from Bariga Police Station arrested one Azeez Ali, of No. 5 Morgan Way Igando-Ikotun Road, Lagos.
“The suspect was arrested at a pin down point along Berger Bus stop, IBB Way Bariga. The suspect who impersonated a Naval Officer, is alleged to have used a military Jack knife to cut the penis of one Sunday Amoo of No. 27 Community Street, Oworoshoki, over a mere argument, resulting in multiple deep cuts.
“The victim was taken to Lagos Teaching Hospital and responding to treatment. Investigation is ongoing. The suspect will be charged to court. ”
