Eze Aro Eberechukwu Oji to speak at World Bank/IMF event in US

The Eze Aro, His Eminence Engr. Dr Eberechukwu Oji, have been invited
by the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) and the AfriCaribbean Diaspora Alliance (ADA) as a member of the high-level panel of experts to address issues around energy transition currently holding on the margins of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund Fall Meetings.

The event is scheduled for Tuesday October 22 from 2pm to 4pm at Washington, DC, USA,

In a letter dated October 18, 2024, the President and CEO of Corporate Council on Africa, Florizelle B. Liser, respectfully requested Eze Eberechukwu Oji to participate in the “Powering Africa: Financing Gas-Powered Solutions: Fueling Sustainable Growth” Forum.

Eze Eberechukwu Oji, in his capacity as the Chair/CEO of Eastwise Ventures Limited, will join the high-level panel, and specifically speak on the topic: “LNG Investment: Local Projects with a Global Impact.”

The first class monarch, an expert in energy matters, will be joined by other distinguished speakers including the Senior Vice President, African Development Bank Group, Marie-Laure Akin-Olugbade, and the Minister of Energy and Oil, Islamic Republic of Mauritania, H.E Mohamed Ould Khaled.

The forum will focus on the multiplier effects of leveraging Africa’s natural gas resources, as well as the investment opportunities and challenges in this dynamic sector.
