A witness invited by the Petitioners before the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) has faulted the results of the last presidential election in Katsina State as claimed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate in the last presidential election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
Lawal Mohammed Danja, who said he served as PDP Collation Agent. in Danja Local Government Area of the state, will be the 55th witness of Atiku and his party.
When he was under cross examination by lawyer to President Muhammadu Buhari, Dayo Akinlaja (SAN), the witness said he did not agree with the scores of the PDP and the All Progressives Congress (APC) as filed by the Petitioners in the case.

It should be noted that in their petition, Atiku and the PDP conceded that the APC defeated them in the presidential election, Danja rejected the above position, insisting that he did not agree with the results as quoted by the Petitioners.
The Pres8idential Elections Petitions Tribunal (PEPT) sitting, in Abuja, had ordered the chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, and the Resident Electoral Commissioner in Zamfara State, to produce the documents requested by the petitioners in the subpoena issued on them. It was gathered that the duo, by the subpoena issued, on Monday, July 15, were expected to appear and produce some documents used for the last elections before the tribunal.
The PDP and its candidate in the last presidential election, Atiku Abubakar, who are Petitioners before the tribunal, had demanded some documents from the INEC.
