EFCC probe: Cubana jumps to defend Cubana, as Chief Priest demands Obi’s release
…Says he's victim of his tribe

A frontline socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, aka Cubana Chief Priest, has urged the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to release his friend, billionaire businessman, Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana.
The Oba, Anambra State-born philanthropist was, on Monday, arrested by the anti-graft agency on suspicions of tax fraud and money laundering.

However, Cubana Chief Priest has told the EFCC to release Obi Cubana, hinting that the young man’s travail could be because he is of the Igbo tribe.
Writing on his Instagram page, Cubans Chief Priest noted that the Igbo are used to the EFCC adversity.
“What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger, we Igbos are used to this. #freeobicubana,” he wrote.
