The people of Edo State, on Saturday, trooped out in their thousands to elect the man that would steer the affairs for the next four years.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has since been declaring results as presented by various Returning Officers for each local government area.
So far, Governor Godwin Obaseki is in the lead from results released from 13 councils that had been declared.
The breakdown of the results are as follows:
