Winner of the March 18, 2023, governorship election in Katsina State, Dr. Dikko Radda, has been sworn in as governor of the state.
The inauguration took place, on Monday, at the Muhammadu Dikko Township Stadium, Katsina.
Recall that Dr. Radda had defeated Sen. Yakubu Danmarke of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), who had earlier threatened to file a suit to challenge the victory of Dikko.

Dikko and his deputy, Faruk Lawal Jobe, took the Oath of Office which was administered by the state’s Chief Judge, Danladi Abubakar in the presence of the former governor, Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari, and his deputy, Muntari Lawal.
