Sen. Dickson  noted that, *Nkanga lived a life of service to God, humanity, the Nigerian Federation, the Niger Delta and his people”, adding: “He was a leader of his people in Akwa Ibom and the Niger Delta apart from the illustrious services he rendered to the country in the military.

“He made out time to serve the people of the Niger Delta where he advanced the national discourse on resource control, restructuring, and the inclusion of the people in the Nigerian State and he died fighting for equality in the Nigerian federation”.

In a similar message to former Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Rabiu Kwankwaso, on the death of his father, Dickson said: “I urge Alhaji Rabiu Kwankwaso to be condoled by the fact that his father lived his full life in the service of God and man having lived up to a ripe age of 93.

“The late Kwankwaso who held the prestigious title of Majidadin Kano, died serving his people as the District Head òf Madobi Local Government Area”.

Sen. Dickson prayed God for the peaceful repose of the souls of both men.
