Day my boyfriend removed condom during sex

Day my boyfriend removed condom during sex
Men, no doubt, can be sometimes smart, or so they think when it comes to the issue of sex and how they want it.
This is what the story of this young lady in her mid-20s points at. Enjoy:
“We just got to know each other in school. As a matter of fact, we are both still in the university and we kind of hit it off from the first day we met at one of the eateries on campus.
“He was friendly, good looking and offered to pay for my meal after we got talking at the table we shared.
Our relationship soon graduated from platonic to romantic in a matter of weeks.
“He lived alone outside campus but we both agreed to have protected sex to avoid unwanted pregnancies. I had no plans for an abortion and I spelt this out from the onset.
“He wasn’t also ready to father a child. So, we just used condoms every time we had sex.
“Last week, we went for a friend’s birthday party and we got drunk and sexy.
“We headed for one of the restrooms for a quickie and I saw him wear a condom as usual.
“Since we were not in our comfort zone,  I didn’t waste time to wear my pants back so as not to be caught in the act by anyone. To my surprise, while he was trying to take a shower( there is a provision for this in the loo), I bent down to grab my phone put safely on the floor, lo and behold, I saw the unused condom on the ground.
“My heart skipped and I felt cheated, outsmarted and endangered. Why on earth would he want me to assume that he used the condom when he actually did not? If I had become pregnant, would he not have denied it?
“Was he planning to disgrace me? But, I saw him putting it on, did he take it off afterwards?’ These and many more questions rushed in and out of my brain. “Why did he do that?

“By the time he came out of the shower, I was holding the condom in my hands. I just showed it to him without a word and stormed out of the place.I left the party and headed straight to a pharmacy for a morning after pill to prevent an unwanted pregnancy.

“Of course, he was at my place the next day to apologise for his action. He said he removed the condom in the middle of the action to enjoy a-skin-skin feel. And to make the matter worse, he admitted to have done  the same a couple of times before that day. Wao! That was all I could say.

“I know that in other countries, that act is an offence because it was not a consensual sex but here in Nigeria, no one will listen to that in any court of law.

Well, I felt being put at a risk for a selfish reason. I lost trust in him and the relationship, so, I ended it.
“What if he had a sexually transmittable disease? He would have infected me through his carelessness. I refused to take him back.”

What do women want most from men, honesty,  reliability and commitment. The guy here like most men does not have these and it is daily jeopardising their relationships.

My advice is that it would have been good for this guy to discuss the issue of condom and its alternatives with the lady before trying to play smart with her. A word, they say, is for the wise.
