COWLSO 2023: Sanwo-Olu’s wife leads awareness walk

The First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. Mrs Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, on Saturday led an Awareness Walk ahead this year’s 23rd edition of Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials, COWLSO, National Women Conference, NWC.
At the Walk which took place in Epe, she urged women and youths to participate actively in this year’s conference, adding that the conference is specifically designed towards influencing participants for positive outcomes in the society, and called for active participation of women and youths in the conference.
According to her, this year’s conference themed “Unleash your Potentials” offer women from all walks of life the opportunity to learn and share knowledge on issues affecting women in the society, and further educate and inform them to be better ambassadors in their various communities.

The conference which will be held both physically and virtually comes up on October 17 to 19.
Sanwo-Olu’s wife said topics bothering on food security, eco friendliness and cyber security will be discussed, adding participants will be able to interact and network as the various segments will be streamed for many participants to join.
The walk commenced from the Lekki-Epe T Junction to Pobo Market, Aiyetoro Market, Oluwo Modern Fish Market, among other areas in Epe.
Other highlights of the road walk/ awareness campaign was the courtesy visit by the First Lady and members of COWLSO to former First Lady and Matriarch of the Otedola family, Doja Otedola.
At her residence, Otedola appreciated the timely visit of the team, acknowledging that the conference initiated by COWLSO over the years has continued to emancipate and advocate for women, proffering lasting solutions to various issues confronting them.
She lauded the efforts of COWLSO in impacting the lives of women and youth’s, emphasizing that they play a critical role in driving economic growth and influence in the society.
