Nigeria has recorded one more death due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) which made the disclosure on Sunday in an update on its Facebook page added that the country also recorded 86 new cases.
According to the NCDC seven states were affected, comprising Kaduna, 41 cases; Lagos, 24; Osun, 10; Bauchi, six; Ekiti and Ondo two each, while Edo turned in one case.

The dead brings the fatality toll to 2,906, while the country’s number of infections rose to a total of 212,713.
Also, 204,379 people have been successfully treated while another 5,428 are still undergoing treatment.
