COVID-19 cases reaches 4,151 as Nigeria confirms 239 new cases

 Nigeria has continued to witness, for five consecutive days, an upsurge in the number of those infected by the rampaging Coronavirus pandemic, also known as COVID-19.
The country has also recorded 239 new cases of #COVID19 out of which Lagos accounted for 97.
The total number of confirmed cases has exceeded 4000 and now stands at 4151.
Other states affected by the latest record are: 44-Bauchi 29-Kano 19-Katsina 17-Borno 7-FCT 6-Kwara 5-Oyo 3-Kaduna 3-Sokoto 2-Adamawa 2-Kebbi 2-Plateau 2-Ogun 1-Ekiti 4151 cases. 
So far, Nigeria has discharged 745 and recorded 128 deaths.
NCDC tasked Nigerians on the preventive measures for the coronavirus disease and emphasised the importance of physical distancing, frequent handwashing, and the wearing of face mask in public.
