COVID-19: Bauchi govt. quarantines seven doctors

Seven doctors in Bauchi State have been quarantined following their contact with a female Coronavirus patient.

Executive Chairman of the state Primary Health Care Development Agency (BASPHCDA), Dr. Rilwanu Mohammed, said this at the Bauchi Government House, on Wednesday, while giving an update on the pandemic.

It was gathered that the female patient was admitted at a private health facility before she was transferred to the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Teaching Hospital (ATBUTH) in Bauchi, after exhibiting symptoms of the pandemic.

The seven doctors had contact with the patient before her sample came out positive.

The executive chairman also added that the samples of the doctors and every other contact of the patient had been taken and were expected last night.
