Justice B.O. Quadri of the Federal High Court, sitting in Akwa, Abia State, has stopped the arrest of lawyer to the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Ifeanyi Ejiofor, who was recently declared wanted by the police.
Counsel to the IPOB’s lawyer, Nnaemeka Ejiofor, disclosed this at a press conference in Abuja.

He presented copies of the court order to journalists.
He, therefore, called on the Federal Government to setup an independent probe to find out the real truth behind the invasion of the IPOB lawyer’s residence where four persons were allegedly killed and over 40 buildings belonging to residents of the community and the lawyer’s family were burnt at Oraifite in Anambra State, on December 2.
