A Benue State High Court has given an Order of Interim Injunction restraining the National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, from parading himself as the national chairman of the Party.
Justice W.I Kpochi, in the interim order, said Dr. Ayu, having been suspended by his Ward from the Party was no longer member of the PDP and cannot parade himself as its national chairman.

The order read in part, “An order of interim injunction restraining the 1st Defendant, Senator Dr. Iyorchia Ayu from parading himself as the national of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) having lost membership of the Party, pending the hearing and determination of motion on notice already filed.”
