A couple in Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area, Benin , Edo State have been arrested by the Edo State Police Command for allegedly brutalizing their eight-year-old maid, one Precious.
According to the police, the couple allegedly inflicted injuries on the maid’s body who happened to be a niece to the wife.

Neighbours who saw marks on the maid’s body from injuries inflicted on her reported the matter at the Oregbeni Police Division, Ikpoba Hill.
“The command is in receipt of this incident. The victim is currently undergoing treatment while the investigation continues,” said the spokesman of the command, Moses Joel Yamu, while confirming the arrest of the couple.
