Coronavirus: Fani-Kayode slams Buhari over his ‘silence’

A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has slammed President Muhammadu Buhari over his perceived silence on the menace of Coronavirus said to have found its way into the shores of Nigeria.

Fani-Kayode, in a tweet on Monday, said that were it to be that cattle were the ones hit by the dreaded virus, the President could have gone on national broadcast on the matter, but has chosen to be mum this time.

Fani-Kayode’s tweet, “If cows had been the ones affected by #coronavirus & were dying all over the world, Buhari would have done a national broadcast by now & told us that what we are facing is the greatest tragedy in world history.

“Which type of leader puts the lives of cows before that of human beings?”
