Computer Village Expo 2019 postponed

The planned Computer Village Expo 2019 (#CVE2019), earlier scheduled to begin, on Tuesday, has been postponed until further notice.

The event is the brainchild of Technology Times Media Limited, which is a technology innovation festival.

The event was initially scheduled to hold between December 10 and 14 in Ikeja, Lagos.

In a statement by the conference director, Foluso Busari, he said the postponement was due to “unforeseen circumstances”.

He apologised for the inconvenience the development might cause, adding that a new date will be communicated to stakeholders.

“We hereby announce that Computer Village Expo 2019 (#CVE2019) earlier scheduled to hold December 10-14, 2019 at the Haven Events Centre, GRA Ikeja, Lagos, has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.

“We hereby apologise to our numerous stakeholders for the inconvenience that the postponement of the highly-anticipated Computer Village Expo 2019 may have caused them.

“We wish to assure that a new date will soon be decided and communicated to all our stakeholders. We thank you most sincerely for your kind understanding.”

The consumer technology festival was scheduled to feature products and services and shape tech lifestyles in 2020 and beyond.

Organisers said attendees would be treated to an array of smartphones, gadgets, devices, accessories, consumer electronics, computing and allied products and services at the tech festival.

The event is organised in collaboration with the Ikeja Computer Village Market management board.
