Cleric warns of Aso Rock invasion, urges Tinubu to declare death sentence on kidnappers
Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, on Sunday, said the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, risks being invaded and top government officials kidnapped by terrorists unless President Bola Tinubu enacts the death sentence for anyone caught kidnapping.
The cleric in a statement signed by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, said the government should immediately impose death for anyone found guilty of kidnapping if it is genuine about about ending the scourge.

‘’If the government is genuine about ending kidnapping and insecurity, death sentences should be enacted for kidnappers and terrorists in the country,” Ayodele said.

“They should kill anyone caught in these devilish acts. They need quick judgment to curb.

‘’Insecurity will become worse than ever but if you give them a death sentence, it will reduce drastically.’
He insisted that the terrorists needed quick judgment to curb the act, adding that it would continue to fester unless the government takes drastic steps against it.
